Tracking by wins and losses, SportSims.net is following the strength of their SportSims Super 32 rankings. Depending on the rankings of the two teams that played, if the higher SportSims.net ranked team won the game, it is considered a win. Thus, SportSims predicted the results of all 256 regular season games...in August. After the 16th week of the season, SportSims.net is 154-86.

When researching historical NFL statistics, player performances and team make-up, SportSims.net identified the key elements in all Super Bowl teams throughout NFL history. Using a pro scouting service, SportSims ranked all of the players in the NFL. If they scored a 95 out of a 100 then they are Pro-Bowl level talent. SportSims.net discovered that all Super Bowl caliber teams require eight Pro-Bowl level star players in key positions: four on offense and four on defense. Using this information, SportSims.net ranked all 32 NFL teams based upon their chances of winning the Super Bowl.
