SportSims.net, an online Franchise Football simulation game, used their technologically advanced simulation engine to predict this week’s winning NFL Playoff Teams.
Four NFL playoff games will be played this weekend: the New York Jets at the San Diego Chargers, the Baltimore Ravens at the Indianapolis Colts, the Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings, and the Arizona Cardinals at the New Orleans Saints. According to SportSims.net, the Jets, Ravens, Cowboys and Saints will all be celebrating victories this weekend.
SportSims.net projects the results by simulating each of the upcoming games 10,000 times using the simulation engine from SportSims.net’s online Franchise Football game. SportSims.net’s SimEngine uses the actual player and team stats and uses them to calculate each of the individual matchups in the game, producing the most accurate results possible.
Jets vs. Chargers. In 10,000 simulations, SportSims.net predicts that the Jets will win the matchup 51.8% of the time against the Chargers. With a final score of 24-20, the key to the game is the best-in-the-league performance of the Jets’ defense. “Looks like another disappointing playoffs for the Chargers. It is just a bad matchup for the Chargers’ offense against the Jets’ defense,” Matt Posner, SportSims.net Statistician.
