Defiance, OH – SportSims proudly announced today that www.sportsims.net, an online sports simulation game site is now live and being Beta tested. Sports enthusiasts from across the globe can play the most highly anticipated football simulation in years. With its roots in MicroSports’ Pro League football, SportSims utilizes an astonishingly accurate simulation engine and a best-in-the-business statistical model. Expanding on tradition, SportSims added a unique Live Online Draft feature, player injuries and retirements, and trades between other players.
“Our incredibly talented team has produced the most unique professional football game to date,” stated Steve Olson, President of SportSims. LLC. “There are so many nuances in football – an optimized game plan, the right mix of talent, home field advantage, injuries, drafting the right players – that must be included in a game to make it fully comprehensive and life-like. With the innovative features like trades between owners, spot-on statistics and a live, online draft, this is the game I’ve waited my entire life to play.”
Featuring a 28-day season, Sportsims.net’s monthly subscribers take their teams through the entire professional football experience. After owners acquire their team, the first four days of the season are spent viewing their roster, scouting the upcoming draft, making trades with other team owners, establishing a detailed gameplan, and signing free agents. A truly unique and state-of-the-art feature is day five’s Live SimDraft. Owners log on to sportsims.net to view each team’s selections and draft rookie talent for their own team. Following the SimDraft, team owners spend two days at training camp then make final roster cuts and starter selections. During a full 16-game season, teams may suffer player injuries and subsequent game plan adjustments. After an action-packed regular season, teams move on to the playoffs and perhaps a triumphant win in the SimBowl. Some players may retire at season’s end and the 28-day, dynasty building cycle begins again.
Membership to SportSims is FREE and the site offers a free Exhibition Season (the first nine days) so new users get the “flavor” of the game.
