Detroit - 4 of 8. The Lions run a Balanced Offense which require elite players at quarterback, running back, and two offensive linemen. Their defensive strategy is a 4-3 which requires two defensive linemen, a linebacker, and a defensive back. Currently Detroit has four of their eight stars: RB Kevin Smith, WR Calvin Johnson, OL Jeff Backus, and LB Julian Peterson. The Lions’ QB Matthew Stafford has potential but needs to develop in order to reach contender status.

Chicago - 7 of 8. The Bears run a Balanced Offense which require elite players at quarterback, running back, and two offensive linemen. Their defensive strategy is a 4-3 which requires two defensive linemen, a linebacker, and a defensive back. Chicago currently has seven of their eight stars: QB Jay Cutler, HB Matt Forte, OL Orlando Pace, OL Olin Krentz, DL Tommie Harris, DL Adewale Ogunleye, and LB Brian Urlacher. The Bears have a glaring need at DB.

Minnesota - 8 of 8. The Vikings run a Balanced Offense which require elite players at quarterback, running back, and two offensive linemen. Their defensive strategy is a 4-3 which requires two defensive linemen, a linebacker and a defensive back. Minnesota has all eight of their eight stars: QB Brett Favre, RB Adrian Peterson, OL Bryant McKinnie, OL Steve Hutchinson, DL Jared Allen, DL Kevin Williams, LB E.J. Henderson, and DB Antoine Winfield. The Vikings have the potential to make it to the Super Bowl this season.

Green Bay - 8 of 8. The Packers run the West Coast Offense which require elite players at quarterback, two wide receivers, and an offensive linemen. Their defensive strategy is a 3-4 which requires a defensive linemen, two linebackers and a defensive back. Green Bay has all eight of their stars: QB Aaron Rodgers, WR Greg Jennings, WR Donald Driver, OL Chad Clifton, DL B.J. Raji, LB A.J. Hawk, LB Nick Barnett, and DB Charles Woodson. The Packers have no needs on their roster and have a great shot at getting to the Super Bowl.
